Earth Day on Highway 47

Experience an Earth Day celebration at A Blooming Hill Vineyard the weekend of the 23rd and 24th of April where they will be pouring their award winning wines. They will also be giving away little kits with corks in them and instructions for making an adorable cork horse. Maybe their own 14 horses will inspire you. In addition to the wine and the crafts, they will have Easter cake for everyone as well!

Events at Plum Hill Vineyard

On the Second Friday of Every Month Plum Hill Vineyards hosts “Date Night” It starts at 5 p.m. and goes until at least 8 p.m. Complimentary nibbles and wine tasting. Massage Chair by Theron Chandler for $1 per minute and Live, original music. You can also opt to have a three course meal by Reedville Catering for $11-12.

Also, once a quarter, we have Ladies’ Night: Complimentary nibbles and wine tasting. Massage Chair by Theron Chandler for $1 per minute, Discounts on Gift Shop Items and Local vendors in a Non-Pressured environment

Locals Night @ Montinore

Hey neighbors! On April 28th we’re having a party for you from 6-9pm! It’s always the last Thursday of the month every month this year. This month the talented singer/songwritter Gayle Ritt will be playing. We’ll be pouring 3 wines by the glass at a $3, $4 and $5 and have some complimentary light snacks. Mark your calendars for this monthly event and plan a night out with your friends and neighbors in the wine country at your back door.

Memorial Day 2011 on Sip47

Memorial Weekend is a perfect time to Sip47! Signs will be out and places will be open! On the map page you can click on the names of the places to find out their hours, however, a few will be having different hours for this big weekend . .

Montinore Estate

Enjoy 230 acres of vines, estate grown wines, warm hospitality, and perfect picnic spot. $10 tasting fee includes a glass and a flight of your choice of new releases and old favorites. Or experience a unique library tasting with a logo glass for $20. Live music and specials too. 11 to 5 every day

David Hill Vineyards

David Hill will be open all weekend from 11 to 5. The cost is $10 and this fee includes complimentary food from James Gang BBQ.

Plum Hill Vineyards

Plum Hill will be open all three days from 11 to 5. There is a $10 event fee and this fee includes a souvenir glass, $5 will be refundable with a bottle purchase. There will also be live music, music, olive, cheese and bread pairings.

Wines of Oregon

Wines of Oregon will be open all four days starting Friday from noon to 6pm. The cost of admission will include your choice of a white or red glass, 6 samples of our regional Oregon Wines and uniquely paired cheeses and chocolate. They will be featuring such wines as a 2001 Blanc de Blanc, dry Gewurztraminer, Pinot Noir, Dolcetto, Marechal Foch and an old vine Syrah/Zin blend. $10 admission, $5 for Wine Club Members.

A Blooming Hill Vineyard

A Blooming Hill Vineyard will be open all three days from 11 to 5pm. Live music from Robert Bernardelli, great views, azalea bushes in bloom and wonderful wine of course. And for dessert…fudgy, decadent chocolate cake made by Holly herself.

The One Horse Tavern

Stop by the One Horse Tavern in Gaston on Friday Night for Steak Night from 5 to 10pm. On Saturday Eric John Kaiser will be preforming from 7 to 10pm, no cover charge.

Patton Valley Vineyard

Join Patton Valley for a five wine flight to include three newly released 2009 Pinot Noirs, a Rose, and a Chardonnay. Tasty nibbles, a stunning view and lively conversation all included. $10 fee includes a Pinot Noir glass. Open all three days from 11 to 5pm.

Cana’s Feast Winery

Join Tuscan inspired Cana’s Feast Winery just north of historic downtown Carlton and experience their award winning northwest red wines with seasonal Mediterranean inspired food. A $15 fee includes a tasting of their current wines as well as hearty antipasti tables prepared by Executive chef Lisa Lanxon. Open Saturday and Sunday, from 11 to 4 and returning to regular tasting room hours on Monday.

Kramer Vineyards

Bring a picnic and enjoy the view from the deck of Kramer Vineyards. They will be open from 11 to 6 all three days and will be tasting their Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Müller-Thurgau, Merlot, Barbera, Sparkling and dessert wines. The fee is $10 per person and includes samples from Wine Country Coffee Roasters and Thistle Wines will be there too!
